What a beautiful photo! I got my first typewriter when I was 16 years old. My typewriter looked exactly like yours and I was just as happy as you are in your photo!

Thanks for stopping by, Rosie. My cousin had that photo and brought it too me. Not sure how she ended up with it but I was happy to get it back. I took a look at your post but my German is so poor I have a hard time with many of the words. Where in Germany are you? I was born in a tiny village outside Dillenburg oh so many years ago. 🙂
I have a translator installed in my right sidebar on my blog. If you like, you can choose a translation there. I live in the beautiful “Bergisches Land”. This is a rural area near the city of Cologne, on the right bank of the great river Rhine.
I wish you all the best and send greetings from the beautiful Rhine-Highlands / Germany… 🍂 🍁🌻🍂…. Rosie

Thank you, Alys. That typewriter has it’s own story. I was never so happy to see anything that year.

Thank you very much. I’ll spend some time reading the German version and then go to English. Maybe I can learn a bit more before my trip.
